Philippine rep Angelica Lopez misses Top 20 in Miss International

Angelica Lopez, representing the Philippines, competed in the Miss International 2024 pageant held at Tokyo Dome City Hall on November 12. She expressed gratitude to her supporters and wore a dazzling national costume featuring intricate details.

Lopez was vying for the country's seventh Miss International title since Gemma Cruz won in 1964, but she did not make it into the final Top 20 during the coronation event.

In her Instagram post on November 11, Lopez thanked her Filipino supporters and acknowledged their role in uplifting her dream of representing the Philippines.

After the pageant results were announced, Lopez shared a message expressing that this was the first time she didn't place in any competition. She remained optimistic about future opportunities.

Vietnam's Huỳnh Thị Thanh Thủy won the Miss International 2024 title.
