Cebu City records 1,687 COVID-19 cases

As of Wednesday, May 13, Cebu City recorded a total of 1,687 confirmed COVID-19 cases.

The city health department reported 27 new cases that day, bringing the total to 1,687 from 1,660 on Tuesday.

Seven new cases were in Barangay Luz, three each in Suba and Inayawan, two each in Lahug, Mambaling, San Nicolas Proper, Tejero, Basak-San Nicolas, Calamba, Duljo-Fatima, Labangon, Pardo, and Pasil, with one case each.

Additionally, 16 police officers, three non-uniformed personnel, and two utility workers from the San Nicolas Police Station also tested positive for COVID-19.

Mayor Edgar Labella ordered asymptomatic patients to be transferred to barangay isolation centers and urged residents to follow safety protocols.
