CBCP leaders willing to get vaccinated publicly

Top CBCP officials have expressed their willingness to receive the COVID-19 vaccine publicly to encourage public confidence.

Archbishop Romulo Valles, CBCP president, stated his readiness to get vaccinated in front of people and mentioned that Pope Francis and Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI had also received vaccinations.

The Palace welcomed CBCP's offer to use Catholic churches as vaccination sites, noting it would help the government reach more Filipinos.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque emphasized that while the CBCP’s initiative is well-meaning, the government must adhere to its vaccine priority list.
