Caloy Yulo wins second Olympic gold, hailed by Marcos

Gymnast Caloy Yulo secured his second gold medal at the Paris Olympics on Monday night, solidifying his status as one of the greatest Filipino athletes.

Yulo's historic double-gold achievement was celebrated by millions of Filipinos and notable figures such as President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Manny Pacquiao, and Hidilyn Diaz.

President Marcos congratulated Yulo, expressing pride in his accomplishment and calling him a source of inspiration for all Filipinos.

Weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz, who won the country's first Olympic gold medal three years ago, praised Yulo's perseverance and dedication once again.

Yulo received support from fellow athletes on site, including teammate Aleiah Finnegan and Team USA gymnast Suni Lee, as well as pole-vaulter EJ Obiena who aims to add to the Philippines' medal tally.
