Caraga region records 45 new Covid-19 cases

Covid-19 cases in Caraga region increased by 45 on Thursday, bringing the total to 1,166 with 642 recoveries, 488 active cases, and 36 deaths.

Butuan City recorded 29 new local transmissions, including seven health workers and 10 close contacts of infected individuals.

The region's local transmission rate is at 532 or 46% of total cases, while LSIs account for 296 (26%), ROFs 62 (6%), healthcare workers 173 (15%), and front-liners 45 (4%).

As of Tuesday, Butuan City's local transmission rate is at 64%, with 591 total cases, 282 recoveries, 285 active cases, and 24 deaths.

Barangay Libertad in Butuan has the highest number of infections at 81 cases.
