DFA: Six new Filipino COVID-19 cases abroad

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported six new Filipino coronavirus cases abroad on Tuesday, bringing the total number of overseas Filipinos with COVID-19 to 10,417.

Eight recoveries were recorded in Asia Pacific and two in Europe, increasing the recovery count to 6,629. One new death was also reported in the Middle East/Africa region, raising the death toll to 779.

Active cases are currently at 3,009 with most of them (7,068) in the Middle East and Africa, followed by Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Americas.
