Business adviser urges shift to Alert Level 1 by March

Business adviser Jose Ma. A. Concepcion III urged the government to shift to pandemic Alert Level 1 by March to support economic recovery.

Concepcion cited OCTA Research Group estimates predicting daily infections will drop to 1,000-2,000 cases by end-February.

He emphasized the need for Filipinos to transition from crisis mode to recovery mode and engage in economic activities like shopping, dining out, traveling, or returning to work.

Concepcion also recommended allowing all establishments to operate under a lower alert level and suggested gradually lifting alert levels in highly vaccinated areas.
