Brownlee plays through injury in Game 4, Ginebra ties series

Barangay Ginebra star player Justin Brownlee played through a dislocated right thumb injury to contribute significantly in Game 4 of the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup finals against TNT on Friday, March 21.

Brownlee scored 23 points and secured 12 rebounds as Ginebra won 95-78 to tie the series at two games apiece.

In Game 5 on Sunday, March 23, momentum was with Ginebra as they aimed for a pivotal 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series against TNT.

Brownlee continued his strong performance despite the injury, while Jamie Malonzo contributed a game-high 24 points to support Ginebra's efforts.

Ginebra is expected to lean on Brownlee again and focus on containing TNT’s Rondae Hollis-Jefferson as they aim to secure another victory in Game 5.
