Barangay Ginebra beats NLEX 109-100, Holt scores 26 points

Barangay Ginebra defeated NLEX 109-100 in the PBA Commissioner's Cup on Wednesday, December 11, with Stephen Holt leading the way and snapping NLEX's three-game winning streak.

Holt scored a crucial 26 points, including standout play in the third quarter where Barangay Ginebra outscored NLEX 36-23 to take a commanding lead.

Troy Rosario made his debut for Barangay Ginebra, contributing nine points, seven rebounds, and three assists before fouling out late in the fourth quarter.

Justin Brownlee added 24 points and 12 rebounds, while Japeth Aguilar and Maverick Ahanmisi combined for 28 points and 12 rebounds in Ginebra's first game since losing to TNT Tropang Giga in the Governors' Cup Finals last month.

Barangay Ginebra will face Phoenix Fuel Masters next Friday and Eastern from Hong Kong two days later, completing their early season schedule.
