San Miguel edges Phoenix 107-104 in PBA opener

San Miguel secured a narrow victory over Phoenix in their PBA Commissioner's Cup opener on Tuesday night, winning 107-104.

Marcio Lassiter made the game-winning jump shot with just 2.3 seconds left, while Juami Tiongson and Ryan Cahilig contributed crucial points in their first games for San Miguel.

CJ Perez led San Miguel with 18 points, followed by Quincy Miller and Don Trollano with 14 each, as import big man June Mar Fajardo was limited to just 8 points on 4-of-10 shooting.

Phoenix's Terrence Smith had a monster outing with 37 points and 15 rebounds, but it wasn't enough for the Fuel Masters who fell to their third straight loss.
