Bohol governor appeals for aid after Odette

Bohol Governor Arthur Yap appealed for immediate assistance for constituents affected by Typhoon Odette, which caused massive destruction in the province.

Parts of Bohol remain submerged in floodwaters with debris blocking several roads and electricity not fully restored a day after the typhoon struck Visayas and Mindanao.

Yap noted similarities between Odette and Typhoon Yolanda in 2013, stating that even first responders are victims themselves due to the extent of damage.

He called for volunteers from Luzon to help rescue and aid victims in Bohol.
