Bello advises UK OFWs to delay vacation plans

Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III advised Filipino workers in the United Kingdom planning to return for a vacation to postpone their trips.

Bello suggested waiting until the situation improves, as returning now would require a 14-day quarantine.

During a Cabinet meeting on Saturday, President Duterte discussed the new coronavirus variant found in the UK and said Filipinos coming home would have to take the risk that they are not carriers of the new strain.
