Sinovac vaccines arrive in Cotabato for Region 12, BARMM health workers

Sinovac vaccines arrived in Cotabato Airport on Friday for health workers in Region 12 (Soccsksargen) and BARMM.

Region 12 received 17,940 vials of Sinovac vaccines to be distributed among 23 referral hospitals across the region.

BARMM received an initial allocation of 4,200 doses on Thursday for health workers directly treating COVID-19 patients.

In Region 12, five hospitals are in North Cotabato; four each in South Cotabota and Sultan Kudarat; two in Sarangani; six in General Santos City; and the CRMC and CSH in Cotabato City and Maguindanao respectively.

BARMM's vaccine distribution includes 1,400 doses for Maguindanao, 972 for Lanao del Sur, 1,032 for Sulu, 518 for Tawi-Tawi, and 278 for Basilan.
