Isko Moreno won't be vaccinated as he's not a medical frontliner

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno will not be among the first to receive the COVID-19 vaccine as he is not a medical front-liner.

Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan, a doctor by profession, and around 200 healthcare workers were vaccinated at Sta. Ana Hospital on Tuesday.

Moreno emphasized that they will follow the guidelines set by the Department of Health and the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases to prioritize medical front-liners.

Around 1,900 out of the estimated 5,000 medical frontliners in Manila have registered for inoculation using Sinovac vaccines.
