GenSan administers nearly 30K COVID-19 vaccines

As of June 15, nearly 30,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in General Santos City since the start of the inoculation rollout on March 8.

About 20,775 residents under priority groups A1 (health care workers), A2 (senior citizens), and A3 (persons with comorbidities) have received their first dose while 8,801 have completed both doses.

The Department of Health delivered additional vaccine doses to areas in General Santos City and South Cotabato province that are experiencing high incidence of COVID-19 cases.

At least 13 barangays in General Santos City and five localities in South Cotabato received special vaccine allocations, with 3,500 vials for first doses and 1,465 vials for second doses.
