Duterte inspects Rolly-hit areas in Bicol

President Rodrigo Duterte conducted an aerial inspection on Monday of areas devastated by Typhoon Rolly, visiting Guinobatan in Albay and other hard-hit regions.

Duterte met with residents and instructed agencies to investigate alleged quarrying operations complained about by locals.

Accompanied by Senator Christopher Go, Duterte defended his absence from Sunday's disaster council meeting, stating he has been working round-the-clock on the emergency response.
