35K AFP troops fully vaccinated vs COVID-19

Around 35,000 military personnel have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 since inoculations began on March 1.

Doctors, nurses, and those monitoring quarantine facilities were prioritized for vaccination.

Vince Dizon, deputy chief implementer of the National Task Force Against Covid-19, emphasized the importance of vaccinating uniformed personnel due to their critical roles in maintaining security and assisting in pandemic response.
