OCTA: Doubling daily jabs will hit population protection before Christmas

OCTA Research group says that doubling the current daily vaccination rate of 195,400 doses will allow the Philippines to achieve population protection from COVID-19 before Christmas.

The government aims for population protection in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal by November 27.

MMDA chair Benhur Abalos expressed confidence that this target can be met in NCR with the help of private sector support and an expected additional 15 million vaccine doses by August.
