AFP halts probe into PSG vaccine use after Duterte order

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has called off its investigation into the use of unauthorized COVID-19 vaccines by members of the Presidential Security Group (PSG), following President Rodrigo Duterte's directive.

Senator Richard Gordon criticized the AFP's decision, calling it 'tragic' and questioning why an investigation cannot be conducted when smuggling is involved.

The AFP stated that the probe was halted in light of Duterte's recent pronouncement ordering the PSG not to cooperate with investigations.
