DOJ orders NBI to probe unauthorized COVID-19 vaccinations

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) received an order from the Justice Department to investigate reports of unauthorized COVID-19 vaccinations.

The investigation will focus on the importation, sale, distribution, administration, and inoculation of unregistered vaccines in the country.

Specifically, the NBI is set to probe the early vaccination of President Rodrigo Duterte's security detail (PSG) and government officials involved in approving these shots.

NBI spokesperson Ferdinand Lavin said they will gather documentary and testimonial evidence from those who received the vaccine.
