Adamson wins first UAAP boys' basketball, girls' volleyball titles

Adamson University secured its first UAAP boys' basketball championship since 1993 and clinched its inaugural girls' volleyball title in the league's history on Sunday and Monday.

The Baby Falcons defeated National University-Nazareth School (NUNS) with a decisive 90-73 victory in Game 3 of the boys' basketball series, while sweeping Nazareth-NU with a 25-18, 25-18, 28-26 win in Game 2 of the girls' volleyball series.

Shaina Nitura was named both season and finals MVP for her outstanding performance throughout the girls' volleyball tournament, capping off her high school career with a perfect 14-game sweep.

Adamson's victories mark a dominant 14-0 Season 86 sweep in girls' volleyball and a first title in 31 years in boys' basketball, showcasing the university's prowess across sports.

Mary Grace del Moral (Second Best Middle Blocker) and Felicity Sagaysay (Best Setter) also played instrumental roles in Adamson’s perfect run of the Lady Baby Falcons, while NUNS won the men's volleyball title with a thrilling 20-25, 25-16, 27-25, 25-21 victory over University of the East.
