Adamson secures 11th straight UAAP softball title with 5-0 win

Adamson University secured their position for an 11th consecutive UAAP Season 86 softball title with a decisive 5-0 victory over De La Salle University on Saturday.

The Lady Falcons extended their unbeaten streak to seven games this season and 16 games overall, dating back to the second game of last year's first round.

Head coach Ana Santiago emphasized that while performance was subpar, securing another win is crucial for their championship aspirations against University of Santo Tomas in upcoming matches.

Adamson took advantage of opportunities early on with a solo inside-the-park home run by senior designated player Khrisha Cantor and an additional run in the sixth inning from Maryjane Libaton.

University of the Philippines also kept their title hopes alive by defeating University of Santo Tomas 4-1, thanks to timely hitting and defensive plays that prevented potential tying runs.
