Adamson beats NU 53-41, moves closer to UAAP men's basketball Final Four

Adamson University improved its chances of reaching the UAAP Season 87 men's basketball Final Four by defeating National University with a score of 53-41 on Sunday, moving to fifth place in the standings with a 5-7 record.

AJ Fransman led Adamson with an 18-point, 11-rebound double-double and also contributed three assists and one steal, pushing his team to a crucial win that eliminated National University from contention.

Coach Nash Racela emphasized his team's defensive strategy as key to containing NU’s explosive offense, noting the importance of preparation for their success.

Adamson limited National University to only seven points in the first quarter and maintained control throughout the game, demonstrating their readiness despite midseason struggles.

Racela highlighted the need to maintain focus and not underestimate opponents like UST, stressing the significance of every game as they aim for a Final Four spot.
