DOH: New Covid-19 cases rise to 3,176

The Department of Health reported 3,176 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, bringing the total number of infections to 245,143 with 55,614 active cases.

Of the active cases, about 88.3 percent are mild, 8.6 percent are asymptomatic, 1.3 percent severe, and 1.8 percent critical.

The additional cases reported were based on tests conducted by 105 out of 117 operational laboratories; 12 labs failed to submit their data.
