DOH: ICU occupancy rate in NCR at 79%

As of Wednesday, September 15, the occupancy rate of ICU beds for COVID-19 patients in the Philippines is at 77% nationwide and 79% in NCR, both considered high risk by DOH.

Ward beds across the country are also at high risk with a 73% utilization rate, while mechanical ventilators have an occupancy rate of 57% nationally and 61% in NCR.

The Philippines has reported a total of 2,283,011 confirmed cases, with 170,446 active cases, 2,076,823 recoveries, and 35,742 deaths.
