DOH-7 nears goal, Soccsksargen 75% vaccinated

DOH-7 received an additional 44,800 doses of Sinovac vaccines in Cebu, bringing them closer to their goal of vaccinating all healthcare workers.

This is the third batch of vaccines for DOH-7 since vaccinations began early this month.

Central Visayas needs a total of 110,000 doses to vaccinate 54,640 healthcare workers in public and private hospitals.

In Soccsksargen, 75% of frontline health care workers have been vaccinated with Sinovac vaccines, representing 75 percent of the eligible medical professionals.

North Cotabato has the highest coverage at 93.65%, followed by General Santos City with 84.96%.

Some recipients experienced minor side effects but overall the vaccination rollout was successful.
