Zamboanga City starts SAP payouts next week

Zamboanga City is set to start payouts for the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) next week.

The CSWDO chief conducted an orientation in Lumbangan and Lumayang barangays, pilot areas for SAP card distribution.

DSWD will validate beneficiaries before distributing cards door-to-door starting next week.

Each beneficiary family will receive PHP5,000 to PHP8,000 per month for two months under the program.

A total of 721,841 families in Region 9 are set to benefit from SAP, with Zamboanga City having 116,518 beneficiaries.
