65% of PH employers plan to buy COVID-19 vaccines for workers

A survey by Willis Towers Watson and the People Management Association of the Philippines found that 65% of Philippine employers plan to buy COVID-19 vaccines for their workers.

Of those who have not started buying vaccines, 58% are considering it while 42% have no plans.

Sixty-eight percent of employers said they would fully subsidize vaccine costs, with 11% planning partial payment and 7% limiting support to certain segments of the workforce.

Employers also intend to purchase vaccines for employees' dependents in some cases but will pass on full cost to workers for their dependents’ vaccines.

Companies are exploring various options for administering the vaccines, including hiring third parties or using onsite clinics.
