6 Pinoy in France die from COVID-19

Philippine Ambassador to France Ma. Theresa Lazaro reported that six Filipinos have died from COVID-19 in France, bringing the total number of Filipinos abroad who have succumbed to the virus to 88.

Lazaro also noted that about 25,000 Filipinos reside in France, with 11 confirmed cases of which six have passed away and some are slowly recovering.

France has been under lockdown since March 17, with President Emmanuel Macron extending it until May 11.
