5 Basilica del Sto Nino personnel test positive for COVID-19

At least five personnel from the Basilica del Sto. Nino in Cebu City tested positive for COVID-19, based on information provided by health officials and Augustinian Prior Provincial Fr. Andres Rivera Jr.,.

The swab tests were conducted last May 29 and June 1.

All other priests who underwent testing received negative results and are asymptomatic individuals remain in quarantine following strict health protocols implemented at the church.
