Four of eight Dumaguete PUIs test negative for nCoV

Four out of eight persons under investigation (PUI) in Dumaguete City have tested negative for the novel coronavirus, with results released by the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine.

The four individuals who tested negative had either direct contact with the infected Chinese couple or travel history to Hong Kong.

As of Sunday, another PUI also tested negative, bringing the total to five negative cases out of eight PUIs.

Three more PUIs are still awaiting test results from RITM and continue to be quarantined at the Negros Oriental Provincial Hospital.
