Philippines surpasses 3M COVID-19 vaccine doses administered

As of May 18, over 786,000 individuals in the Philippines are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, with a total of 3.2 million doses administered.

Health Undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje reported that more than 2.5 million first doses have been given to health workers, senior citizens, persons with comorbidities, and essential workers.

National Task Force Against Covid-19 Chief Implementer Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. announced the country has surpassed three million vaccine doses administered since March 1.

Galvez highlighted that another 500,000 Sinovac doses are arriving on May 20, bringing the government's stockpile to over 7.7 million by month-end and 10 million next month.
