OFWs return amid COVID-19, placed in quarantine

Thirty returning OFWs were placed in patient care centers upon arrival in Cagayan de Oro on Thursday.

The OFWs had completed a 14-day quarantine abroad and tested negative for COVID-19, but local health officials are conducting another round of testing.

In Zamboanga City, eighteen OFWs arrived from Manila and were taken to Harmony Village for quarantine.

Fifty-two OFWs returned home to Negros Occidental and Bacolod on Tuesday night, while twenty-three repatriated workers arrived in Dumaguete the previous day.
