Pangasinan Towns Revert to and Lift EECQ Due to COVID-19 Cases

Pangasinan towns Agno and Bani reverted to extreme enhanced community quarantine (EECQ) over the weekend due to positive coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases.

Agno placed the whole town under EECQ from June 8 to June 13 after four front-liners tested positive for COVID-19, while Bani implemented EECQ from June 6 to June 9 due to a police officer testing positive.

On Tuesday, Agno lifted its EECQ status after completing contact tracing and health protocols, but Barangay Poblacion East remained under partial lockdown.

Bani also lifted its EECQ early on Monday after finishing contact tracing and testing without further need for restrictions.
