House COVID-19 cases rise to 36

The number of COVID-19 cases at the House of Representatives has risen to 36 after two more employees tested positive on Wednesday.

The latest cases involve a married couple; one works in Human Resources Management Services and the other in Accounting Service.

Contact tracing is ongoing within the House following these new infections.

Previously, three additional cases were reported on Tuesday involving a security staff member who helped secure the Plenary Hall before President Duterte's SONA, and an employee from the Administrative Department who experienced throat discomfort.

Before that, two more employees tested positive on Sunday, bringing the total to 31 cases.
