PNP: COVID infections rise to 2,008

As of Sunday, the number of Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel infected with COVID-19 has risen to 2,008 after reporting an additional 76 cases.

Ten more police officers have recovered, bringing the total recoveries to 716. A 46-year-old male officer died on Wednesday, increasing the death toll to 10.

The PNP also recorded 725 probable and 2,445 suspected COVID-19 cases. The organization urges employees experiencing symptoms to contact its health service.
