BARMM Reports Two New COVID-19 Cases; Recovery Rate Improves

As of Wednesday, July 29, the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) reported two new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 451.

The region's recovery rate has improved with 153 recoveries out of 451 confirmed cases, and there have been nine fatalities.

Dr. Ameril Usman, head of the Ministry of Health–BARMM’s epidemiology surveillance unit, noted that about 100,000 Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) and Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs) are expected to return under the government's 'Hatid Tulong' program.

Region 12 (Soccsksargen) reported a recovery rate of 45% with 103 recoveries out of 231 confirmed cases, including three fatalities.
