Navotas places 10 barangays under ECQ

Ten barangays in Navotas City will be placed under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) starting May 23 until May 31.

Navotas Mayor Toby Tiangco announced that these measures aim to address the rising number of COVID-19 cases, though specific case numbers were not provided for each barangay.

The ECQ affects barangays Daanghari, NBBN, NBBS Dagat-dagatan, NBBS Kaunlaran, NBBS Proper, San Jose, San Roque, Sipac Almacen, Tangos North, and Tangos South.

Only residents with home quarantine passes or essential workers with valid IDs or employment certificates will be allowed to leave their homes.
