Shear line, amihan to bring rains over parts of PH until Sunday

A shear line is expected to bring scattered moderate to heavy rains over Southern Luzon and Visayas until Wednesday.

The shear line will affect eastern CALABARZON, northern MIMAROPA, Bicol, and parts of Panay and Eastern Visayas until Wednesday.

It is forecast to re-form and bring rains over eastern Cordillera, Cagayan Valley, and Aurora from Thursday through Saturday, and over Bicol and Samar by Sunday.

Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon (amihan) will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon until Tuesday before weakening by Wednesday, bringing light to occasionally moderate rains over eastern Cordillera and Cagayan Valley.

The amihan will also bring light rains over Extreme Northern Luzon from Thursday through the weekend.

Easterlies will bring rains to Caraga and Davao Region mostly in the afternoon, with possible thunderstorms in Palawan, Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, and SOCCSKSARGEN.

Metro Manila will experience cloudy skies with possible passing rains on Monday and Tuesday, followed by sunnier and hotter weather for the remainder of the week.
