Shear line, amihan to bring rains nationwide

The shear line, northeast monsoon or "amihan", and the easterlies are expected to bring rains across most parts of the Philippines.

Quezon, Laguna, and the Bicol Region will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the shear line.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains in affected areas.

The Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with light rains from the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila, the rest of CALABARZON, Central Luzon, and the Ilocos Region can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the "amihan".

The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

PAGASA also advised the public to be wary of flash floods or landslides that may occur during severe thunderstorms.
