Shear line, Amihan to bring rains over Northern Luzon

The shear line, or the tail-end of a frontal system, is affecting the eastern section of Northern Luzon.

The Northeast Monsoon will also influence Central Luzon and the rest of Northern Luzon.

Cagayan, Isabela, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, Catanduanes, and Samar provinces can expect cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

Moderate to at times heavy rainfall may lead to flash floods or landslides in these areas.

Aurora and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Central Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, with a risk of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon can expect moderate to strong northeasterly winds, with moderate to rough seas.
