PAGASA: Cloudy skies, light rains over Northern Luzon due to frontal system

Northern Luzon will experience cloudy skies and light rains due to the tail end of a frontal system, according to PAGASA.

Specifically, Batangas and Cagayan will have light rains due to the shear line, while the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

Meanwhile, the Zamboanga Peninsula and Palawan can expect cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).

The rest of the country, including Metro Manila, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms from localized thunderstorms.

Residents in areas affected by severe thunderstorms are advised of potential flash floods or landslides.

Northern Luzon will also experience moderate to strong northeasterly winds, leading to moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
