3 weather systems to bring rains across PH

Three weather systems, the Shear Line, Northeast Monsoon (amihan), and Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), are expected to bring rains across the Philippines on Thursday.

The Shear Line will cause scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms in the Visayas, Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, Romblon, Dinagat Islands, and Surigao del Norte.

The ITCZ will bring scattered rains and thunderstorms to Davao Region and the rest of Caraga.

Moderate to heavy rains, with possible flash floods and landslides, are forecast over Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur due to the Shear Line and ITCZ.

The northeast monsoon will bring rains to Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, and the rest of the Bicol Region, along with isolated light rains over the rest of Luzon.

PAGASA forecasts strong winds and rough seas in the northern and eastern sections of Luzon, and moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough coastal waters in the eastern sections of the Visayas and Mindanao.
