Shear line, Amihan to bring rains across Visayas, Mindanao, Northern Luzon

The Philippines can expect cloudy skies and scattered rains across various regions on Tuesday due to the combined effects of the shear line, the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan), and the easterlies.

The shear line is expected to bring cloudy conditions with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms to Visayas and Palawan, with a risk of flash floods or landslides from moderate to heavy rainfall.

Eastern Mindanao, including Dinagat Islands, will also experience cloudy skies and scattered rains due to the easterlies, carrying similar risks of flash floods or landslides.

Batanes, Cagayan, and Isabela will face cloudy weather and rains from the Northeast Monsoon, with potential for flash floods or landslides.

Metro Manila and the remainder of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains from the Amihan, posing no significant impact.

Northern Luzon is forecast to experience strong to gale-force northeasterly winds, resulting in rough to very rough seas.

Central Luzon will see moderate to strong northeasterly winds, with coastal waters expected to be moderate to rough.
