Ph Covid-19 recoveries top 312,000; 424 new recoveries logged

The Philippines has recorded 312,691 total recoveries from Covid-19, with 424 new recoveries reported on Friday.

The Department of Health (DOH) announced 1,923 new confirmed cases, bringing the total active cases to 46,192.

Davao City, Cavite, City of Manila, Quezon City, and Negros Occidental reported the highest numbers of new infections.

Of the active cases, most are mild (83.6 percent), followed by asymptomatic (11.3 percent), critical (3.2 percent), and severe (1.8 percent).

The country's death toll from Covid-19 has reached 6,915 with 132 new fatalities reported.

The country's total Covid-19 cases are now at 365,799.

Covid-19 bed occupancy remains at safe levels, with ICU beds at 44% occupancy and isolation beds at 43% occupancy.
