PDEA busts drug den in Sulu, arrests 11

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agents arrested an alleged drug den maintainer and 10 other individuals in an anti-drug operation in Indanan, Sulu.

Following the initial arrest, 10 other people found inside the drug den were also taken into custody.

A search of the premises led to the confiscation of approximately 10 grams of shabu worth P68,000, about five grams of dried marijuana leaves, various drug paraphernalia, and a mobile phone.

The 11 arrested individuals are currently detained at the Indanan Municipal Police Station and will face charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The successful operation was supported by local officials and the office of Sulu Governor Hadji Abdusakur Tan Sr.
