PAGASA issues yellow rainfall alert over Luzon

From Friday afternoon to Saturday afternoon, 50 to 100 mm of rain is forecast for Batanes, Cagayan, Apayao, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Benguet, Zambales, and Bataan.

From Saturday afternoon to Sunday afternoon, Batanes may receive 100 to 200 mm of rain, while Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, and Pangasinan could get 50 to 100 mm.

PAGASA warned that forecast rainfall may be higher in mountainous and elevated areas, and impacts could be worsened by previous rainfall.
