DPWH exec, district engineer told to explain questionable flood control project in Davao Occidental

DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon issued show-cause orders to DPWH-Davao Region XI Director Juby Cordon and Davao Occidental district engineer Rodrigo Larete, giving them five days to explain the situation.
The project contractor is St. Timothy Construction Corp.
Residents and the barangay chairperson confirmed to Magalong and Dizon that construction started only two to three weeks prior to their September 25 inspection.
Dizon warned that the ICI would pursue officials involved in similar fraudulent projects if they do not come forward.
