9 Caraga PUIs test negative for Covid-19
Nine patients under investigation (PUIs) in Caraga tested negative for COVID-19, confirmed by the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) in Davao City.
Of the nine PUIs, six are admitted at the Caraga Regional Hospital (CRH) in Surigao City and three at the Adella Sierra Ty Memorial Hospital (ASTMH) in Tandag City, Surigao del Sur.
DOH-Caraga Director Jose Llacuna stated that they are happy with the results and are awaiting results for other submitted PUIs.
Hospital chiefs of CRH and ASTMH are expected to discharge the patients.
As of March 25, Caraga Region had 36 PUIs, with 12 admitted and 24 under home quarantine.
The region has 6,692 persons under monitoring (PUMs), of whom 1,961 have been cleared and 4,731 are still being monitored.
As of Thursday, Caraga Region has no confirmed COVID-19 cases.
