Mayor Guo’s fingerprints do not match Alice Guo’s in 2005 NBI data
The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is probing a 2005 NBI clearance obtained by an "Alice Guo y Leal," who shares the same birthday and birthplace as suspended Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo, but has a different photograph.
Despite this new lead, the NBI has confirmed that Mayor Alice Guo and Chinese national Guo Hua Ping are the same person through fingerprint examination from her 2021 clearance.
NBI Director Jaime B. Santiago stated that the 2005 clearance holder would not affect their findings regarding Mayor Guo's identity.
Investigators visited the Quezon City residence of the 2005 Alice Guo y Leal.
The NBI suspects the 2005 Alice Guo was instructed to apply for clearance under that name to mislead authorities.
The NBI is also offering a reward for information on the whereabouts of the 2005 Alice Guo.
